The Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Industry Association (Aismoli) ensures that as many as 4,148 electric motorbike subsidies from distribution to disbursement of funds are distributed in stages.
Secretary General Aismoli Hanggoro Ananta said that based on the Electric Motor Vehicle Purchase Assistance Information System (SISAPIRa) it was recorded that 4,148 were distributed and 4,328 were verified on Wednesday, at 18.30 WIB.
“Verifying around 4,000 doesn’t have to be done quickly, but you can maybe wait two days a day or a week,” said at the Inbuyer EV EXPO 2023 event, in South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/11/2023).
Nevertheless, he emphasized that he was not aware of the latest information on disbursement of funds related to electric motorbike subsidies.
“The government is committed to definitely paying, but everyone reiterates that the disbursement will be carried out in stages,” he also said.
Moreover, now it is easy to subsidize electric motorbikes without conditions, just bring your population identification number (NIK).
He believes that the NIK requirement for ownership has an effect on sales profits of almost 100 percent.
“With continuous socialization, we hope that the potential increase will be quite large too,” he said again.
Previously, General Chairperson of Aismoli Budi Setiyadi said that the association was eagerly awaiting the revision of the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) which would increase the electric motorbike incentive to IDR 10 million.
“We also heard that ESDM is working on revising the ESDM Ministerial Regulation regarding the article on government assistance for the conversion of electric motorbikes, which was previously planned to be increased to IDR 7 million to IDR 10 million. “We really hope for what ESDM is doing,” said Budi.
