– Stamped power of attorney and photocopy of the authorized ID card if the management is represented by another person.
How to Manage Lost STNK at SAMSAT
After you have prepared all the requirements, the next step is to take care of lost STNK at the Samsat office.
The first step is to visit the nearest SAMSAT office that corresponds to your vehicle registration location.
Vehicle Physical Check
The first process starts with a physical inspection of your vehicle which will be carried out by SAMSAT officers. The goal is to ensure that the vehicle you claim actually matches the information in the documents.
Fill out the Registration Form
After the physical check is complete, you will be asked to fill out the lost vehicle registration form. Make sure to fill in all the requested information completely and correctly. This form serves as the basic data for the new STNK.
Submit Required Documents
Submit all required documents, including a loss report from the police, a photocopy of your National Identity Card (KTP), a photocopy of your lost STNK (if any), and the original Motor Vehicle Ownership Book (BPKB) along with the photocopy.
Check Blocking and Vehicle Tax
Before continuing the STNK replacement process, ensure that your vehicle does not have any annual tax arrears.
If there are tax arrears, make sure to pay them first. If the vehicle is blocked due to tax arrears, you can take care of it at the same location.
Making a New STNK
After all the previous steps have been completed, you will be directed to make a new STNK at the Transfer of Name Customs II counter. Be sure to bring all documents and provide accurate and complete information.
Payment of Administration Fees
Next, pay the administration fee for replacing your STNK at the counter provided. You can also pay motor vehicle tax (PKB) if it has not been paid in full.
New STNK Collection
After all documents are validated and payment is complete, you only need to submit proof of payment at the collection counter. Wait until you are called to collect your new STNK.
This process usually involves matching personal data with existing information in the SAMSAT system. After receiving the new STNK, ensure that the data listed on the STNK is accurate and complete.
Fees for Processing a Lost STNK
In accordance with PP No 60/2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenues, the following are details regarding the amount of processing fees:
– 2 or 3 wheeled motorized vehicles: IDR 100,000 per issue
– Motorized vehicles with 4 wheels or more: IDR 200,000 per issue
– In addition to the replacement fee, you may also be charged an endorsement fee. This validation fee is determined based on your vehicle type and is adjusted to the latest regulations.
The validation costs are usually lower than the replacement costs, namely:
– 2 or 3 wheeled motorized vehicles: IDR 25,000
– 4 or more wheeled motorized vehicles: IDR 50,000
