How to solve the ABS indicator light on a car that keeps coming on

,

Embedding the ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) feature is now available in almost every modern car. The main function of the ABS feature in a car is to prevent the braking system and tires from locking when the car brakes suddenly.

This way the driver can still control the car well without slipping when braking. When the driver uses the ABS feature, the feature indicator light automatically turns on.

So what if the ABS indicator light keeps coming on? Here’s how to turn off the indicator light when the ABS feature continues to be on, Monday (20/11/2023):

Check the Indicator Light Sensor Part

The first way, you can first check the ABS indicator light sensor part. Check the sensor cable located on the front wheel of the car to see if there is a problem or not.

Next, check the working of the indicator light sensor which detects the condition of the brake pads which are starting to wear out. This sensor condition causes the ABS indicator light to come on because the brake fluid level drops drastically.

Cleaning the Throttle Body

The second way, you can clean the throttle body using a special car cleaner. Spray the liquid into the air hose in the car engine. After the cleaning process, the car engine will cough for a while until the engine condition returns to normal.

Visit an Official Workshop

If the ABS indicator light continues to stay on, you can ask an official repair shop for help to solve the problem.

These are the steps you can take if you find that the ABS indicator light on your car is constantly on.
