Taking a peek at Firli Bahuri and Nawawi Pamolango`s assets and vehicle collections, why are they so lame?

,

Firli Bahuri has been expelled from his position as chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission and Jokowi has appointed Nawawi Pamolango as interim chairman of the agency.

As we know, this happened because Firli has now been named a suspect in alleged corruption in the form of blackmail against Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

During his time as a state official, especially chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission, according to the latest LHKPN from Firli Bahuri, he was recorded as having wealth reaching IDR 22,864,765,633. Apart from that, he also has a collection of vehicles as follows:

1. Motorbike, Honda Vario 2007, own proceeds Rp. 2,500,0002. Motorbike, Yamaha N-Max 2016, own proceeds IDR 15,000,0003. Car, Toyota Innova Venturer 2.0 AT 2019, own proceeds IDR 292,000,0004. Car, Toyota Camry 2.5 AT 2021, own proceeds IDR 593,900,0005. Car, Toyota LC 200 AT 2012, own proceeds IDR 850,000,000

How does this compare to Nawawi’s wealth? It turns out the difference is huge. The total assets of Firli’s replacement are “only” IDR 3,713,500,000. So, what about his vehicle collection? This is the list according to LHKPN:

1. Motorbike, 2019 Honda Beat, own proceeds Rp. 6,500,0002. Car, Toyota Innova 2020, self-made Rp. 315,000,000

How, lame isn’t it?

It should be noted that Firli Bahuri has had suspect status since Wednesday (22/11/2023).

This extortion case is allegedly connected to the corruption case at the Ministry of Agriculture that ensnared SYL.

So, will the figure of Nawawi, who at first glance seems simpler, be able to carry out his duties as interim chairman of the Corruption Eradication Committee well? Let’s just wait.
