,

PT Toyota-Astra Motor in the 2023 Industrial Journalist Workshop revealed the company’s future direction as a mobility company. Namely making mobility an integrated part of the automotive sector which has been the backbone for so long.

“There are three elements of mobility, namely carbon neutrality and electrification, diversification and connected intelligence products,” explained Dimas Aska, Head of Public Relations PT Toyota-Astra Motor.

According to him, what is mentioned as a diversification step, for example, is the Toyota Rangga Concept.

This figure, in line with its name as a concept car, has appeared at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS 2023 automotive exhibition at ICE, BSD City, Tangerang, Banten (10-20/8/2023).

As an electric-powered concept car or electric concept car, the Toyota Rangga Concept is designed to be multi-purpose.

Among other things, it is used as an ambulance for a fast reaction vehicle in rescuing patients or victims of illness or accidents.

Toyota Rangga Concept which functions as an ambulance in disaster areas, fully electrified [/CNR ukirsari]. Then it becomes a coffee shop for the business sector, especially regarding Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

And when a natural disaster occurs, the Toyota Rangga Concept can be a source of energy, aka a supplier of electricity for emergency command tents to maintenance areas in refugee camps.

There is also a function when there is no charger station available, namely functioning as a mobile charging station or mobile charger which is of course very helpful. Wherever needed.

So the term in the world of mobility as an example of functional enrichment or diversification is indeed appropriately applied to the Toyota Rangga Concept.
