Jak-Japan Matsuri (JJM) 2023 is a forum for exchange that aims to deepen understanding between Japanese and Indonesian citizens in all aspects, including in terms of culture and entertainment.
This activity was first held in 2009 in Jakarta in collaboration between the government and the private sector.
Since then, JJM has become an event that strengthens and grows ties and friendship between the two countries, and is held in September every year.
Canvas body Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid at Jak-Japan Matsuri 2023 [PT YIMM] This time, in the 2023 calendar JJM was staged at Gambir JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta last weekend (18-19/11/2023).
Quoted from the official release of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) as received by , the Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid Connected greeted visitors to the event which took place at the JJM arena.
“YIMM’s presence at this year’s Jak-Japan Matsuri is a symbol of the success of collaboration between the two countries (Indonesia – Japan) in presenting Yamaha motorbike products in Indonesia, where Japanese manufacturing technology was successfully transferred to the nation’s children, so that Indonesia “is a global production base for various Yamaha motorbike models which are exported to more than 40 countries in the world,” explained Antonius Widiantoro, Asst. General Manager Marketing – Public Relations, PT YIMM.
PT YIMM presents a pair of Fazzio Hybrid Connected scooters with a pirate theme aka pirates from one of the famous anime, namely One Piece by Eiichiro Oda.
The strong pirate feel can be seen from the design and ornaments in the booth which resemble a pirate ship.
It doesn’t stop there, the Classy Yamaha booth keepers also dressing up and using attributes like a pirate character in the One Piece series.
No doubt it was a surprise for Japanese anime fans, namely the presence of the Classy Yamaha booth which suddenly became a magnet for anime lovers.
Many of the visitors took the time to stop by to take a closer look at the red and blue Yamaha Fazzio Hybrid Connected motorbikes, as well as take photos with cosplayers.
“As an anime lover, this Yamaha booth concept is quite cool. Because the combination of motorbike colors on display with the pirate themed booth concept looks harmonious. Plus there was a character cosplayer from one of our favorite anime characters which of course made me and several friends want to take photos here (booth). “What’s more, the photos can be printed directly and competed,” commented M. Taufik Amirullah, one of the visitors to the Jak-Japan Matsuri on Saturday (19/11/2023).
At the Yamaha booth, event visitors were invited to take photos at the Yamaha booth and have them printed straight away, and could also be contested.
The 10 lucky winners will receive prizes in the form of free MAP vouchers worth hundreds of thousands of rupiah.
Apart from that, visitors can also express their creativity by drawing anything on the surface of the Fazzio motorbike body as an embodiment of the white canvas concept.
