Kawasaki last October introduced the Ninja 7 HEV, a motorbike equipped with a hybrid engine.

The Kawasaki Ninja 7 HEV comes with a number of specifications that make it a sophisticated and powerful sports motorbike. The engine is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel twin with a compression ratio of 11.7:1.

The valve system uses DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) with 8 valves, and has a bore x stroke of 70.0 x 58.6 mm.

With an engine capacity of 451 cc, this motorbike uses a fuel injection system with a size of 36 mm x 2.

The lubrication process is carried out using forced lubrication and wet sump methods. The Kawasaki Ninja 7 HEV is equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator as a starter system, as well as a digital ignition system.

With peak power reaching 51.1 kW {69 PS} at 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 60.4 Nm {6.2 kgfm} at 2,800 rpm, the Kawasaki Ninja 7 HEV has a 6-speed transmission with a return shift system. The primary gear ratio is 2.219 (71/32), while the sixth gear ratio reaches 0.964 (27/28).

This motorbike uses a rear wheel drive system with a chain that is guaranteed to be tight so it lasts a long time. The final reduction ratio was 3,071 (43/14).
