Yamaha X-Max 250 TechMax officially launched in Indonesia as the highest variant of the Maxi Yamaha scooter. With a number of additional accessories installed, this big scooter is priced at IDR 71.3 million.
If you look at the price offered, Yamaha has set the price at Rp. 5 million more than the standard version of the Yamaha X-Max 250. However, what makes this newest motorbike from Yamaha more expensive than its sibling?
Explained by Antonius Widiantoro as Asst. General Manager Marketing & Public Relations PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), the higher price of the Yamaha X-Max 250 TechMax is due to the addition of special components on the exterior.
“There are five special accessories added to this motorbike. Almost all of these accessories were imported from Europe,” said Antonius at the launch of the X-Max 250 TechMax, in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, Saturday (9/12/2023).
Furthermore, the man who is familiarly called Anton explained that the included accessories include the seat lining and dashboard cover which uses special leather material, new footrests, special handgrips and the ‘Tech Max’ emblem in the fairing area.

“If regular X-Max users want to use the new accessories, they can. It’s plug and play and the cost is IDR 6.3 million,” said Anton.
In terms of power, Yamaha has not made any changes to the X-Max 250 TechMax. This motorbike still relies on a single-cylinder 250cc BlueCore engine with maximum power of 16.8 kW and peak torque of 24.3 Nm.
The Yamaha X-Max 250 TechMax also still carries the Y-Connect feature which allows riders to connect the motorbike with a smartphone device.
