The National Police Traffic Corps received a grant for one BMW iX electric car as an additional patrol car.
Korlantas Polri received a grant of one BMW iX electric car from PT. Solusindo Soedono Technology Partner which was received directly by the National Police Traffic Corps Head Inspector General Pol Aan Suhanan
“I am grateful that BMW friends provided a grant for one car unit, hopefully with the addition of one more car this will increase our performance during patrols and become a synergy for Korlantas. “BMW patrol cars are also to improve the performance of Police officers,” said Kakorlantas, quoted from the NTMC Polri Instagram page, Sunday (24/12/2023).
The BMW iX is a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) style car. This is a premium full electric car with a modern design that offers minimalist luxury.
This model even became the official vehicle for heads of state at the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
As a premium car, BMW has equipped it with efficient BMW eDrive technology with a fully electric all-wheel drive system.
This car carries a dual electric motor with a total power of 326 PS and a maximum torque of 630 Nm. The BMW iX only takes 6 seconds to reach 0-100 km/h.
As a power source, the BMW iX relies on a 76.6 kWh lithium-ion battery which can carry the car to a range of 420 km based on the World Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) cycle.
The cycle is the latest emission and energy consumption homologation standard used by the European Union.
This BMW iX has a charging capacity of up to 150 kW. You can charge at the station in less than 40 minutes to fill 10% to 80% and can increase the range up to 150 km in just 10 minutes.
The price alone reaches IDR 2.3 billion off the road in DKI Jakarta.
