The police confirmed that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) employee who was absent when questioned regarding the alleged extortion case against the former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo alias SYL was Tomi Murtomo. Tomi is the Director of Public Reporting and Complaints Services at the KPK.
“That’s right (Tomi Murtomo),” said the Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to journalists, Friday (13/10/2023).
Tomi was originally scheduled to be questioned on Thursday (12/10/2023). He was questioned along with two other people in the capacity as witnesses.
However, at that time Tomi was absent on the grounds that he was on work duty. In a letter sent by the KPK Legal Bureau, Tomi asked that the examination be postponed to Monday (16/10/2023).

Ade added that today investigators are also examining the aide to KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, Kevin Egananta Joshua. Kevin’s examination was initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday (11/10/2023).
It’s just that at that time Kevin also claimed that he was unable to attend because he was on work duty. So the new inspection can be carried out today.
Monitoring, Kevin arrived at the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Building at around 11.15 WIB. He arrived accompanied by representatives from the KPK Legal Bureau.
Upon arrival at the location, Kevin immediately rushed into the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Building. He claimed that there were no special instructions from Firli before undergoing today’s examination.
“There weren’t any instructions. I just answered,” said Kevin.
