The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is again holding a program to reduce motor vehicle tax (PKB) and motor vehicle title transfer fees (BBNKB) which will run until December 29.
This program is expected to help people be more compliant and relieve those who have motor vehicle tax arrears.
With this program, vehicle owners only need to pay the basic vehicle tax, without having to pay administrative sanctions in the form of fines. Quoted from the Instagram page @humaspajakjakarta, tax payments can now not only be made on weekdays. But also on Saturdays, to make it easier for people who intend to pay vehicle tax.
Especially for Saturdays, the DKI Jakarta Samsat remains open during October-December 2023 with special operational hours from 08.00 to 12.00 WIB at the Main Samsat. However, this service does not include outlets and mobile Samsat.
To get this facility, taxpayers only need to prepare several documents, namely the original KTP and a copy in accordance with the vehicle’s STNK, the original and copy of the STNK in the name of the vehicle owner, as well as the original and copy of the BPKB, which will be used for annual tax payments.
For the motor vehicle title change fine exemption program or BBNKB II, there are additional documents that must be attached, namely the results of a physical check of the vehicle as well as the original vehicle sale and purchase receipt and a signed copy on a 10 thousand stamp.
Motor vehicle owners who take part in the tax whitening program in DKI Jakarta will get the benefit of eliminating administrative sanctions in the form of interest and motor vehicle tax fines.
