The inaugural vice presidential debate was held on Friday (22/12/2023) evening leaving many highlights.
Vice presidential candidate number 2, Gibran Rakabuming Raka could not escape attention after his debate performance which was considered mature.
In the debate session, Gibran was said to be able to put himself on par with his two competitors who were much more senior, namely Mahfud MD and Muhaimin Iskandar.
Apart from his debate performance, netizens also couldn’t help but notice Gibran’s appearance. One of them is Gibran’s shoes which look casual.
It is known that Gibran wore a blue shirt typical of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign colors. He combined it with dark trousers.
Apart from that, President Joko Widodo’s eldest son wore white and black sneakers which looked casual.
Apparently the shoes Gibran was wearing were local products. This was revealed in the upload of the TikTok account @indonesiamajubanget.
“Salfok and Mas Gibran’s shoes, like expensive international brand shoes,” wrote the account.
“It turns out that a local brand, this is a real promise, not just a promise but supported and bought,” he said.
