The career of Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner General Pol Agus Andrianto, certainly cannot be underestimated. In fact, Agus is known to have almost become National Police Chief but in the end he was unable to compete with General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Even so, Agus is known as one of the police who has held a number of strategic positions in the Bhayangkara Corps. Before becoming Deputy Chief of Police, Agus served as Head of Criminal Investigation, Kabaharkam, and Head of North Sumatra Regional Police.

With such an extraordinary career, Agus apparently never allowed his children to follow in his footsteps. This was told by her middle child, Starrisya Andhita, when responding to netizens’ comments on one of her TikTok posts.

“My dad in the 80’s,” he wrote then showed old photos of his father, quoted on Tuesday (26/12/2023).

Photos of Agus’s youth could be said to be quite different compared to now. One of them is that Agus, when he was a Police Academy Cadet, didn’t seem to have a mustache.

This upload was then widely commented on by netizens, including some who questioned the reason why there were fathers of civil servants who did not allow their children to become civil servants.

“Pls want to know why parents of civil servants forbid their children from becoming civil servants and what the reasons are,” wrote a netizen.

“It really depends, there are those who forbid it and there are those who motivate their children to join,” answered Starrisya who then told about her father’s decision to forbid his children from becoming police officers like her. “My father didn’t allow it because he didn’t want what his children would experience. what he experienced when he was in the police academy HAHAHAHA, my brother, but it was allowed,” continued Starrisya, referring to the figure of her older brother, Andre Azhar, who now has the rank of Iptu. It is also known that currently Starrisya is still in high school.
