PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI), provides a sneak peek at the superior features of the Chery Omoda E5 electric car which is planned to be launched in early 2024.
Even though it will only be launched at the beginning of the year, CSI has so far pocketed 400 Omoda E5 units since was first introduced at the GIIAS 2023 event last August. “We really appreciate the high enthusiasm of automotive fans in Indonesia for the Chery Omoda E5. “This shows that Indonesian people are increasingly considering using electric cars that are more environmentally friendly,” said Harry Kamora, Vice President of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Wednesday (27/12/2023).
Apart from driving safety features, the Chery Omoda E5 electric car is designed to provide comfort through the various features it offers.

Design
The futuristic and sporty appearance of the Omoda E5 was born from the design DNA of the Omoda 5 Family. The design displayed combines art and technology.
On the body, the Chery Omoda E5 has sharp and aerodynamic curves to create a sporty impression in accordance with its designation as a Crossover SUV.
Safety features
Chery Omoda E5 is five-star EURO NCAP (ENCAP) certified, equipped with 17 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS), the latest intelligent intelligence features, as well as six driving modes and 50W Wireless Fast Charging which supports charging quickly on a smartphone.
Performance
The Omoda E5 electric car is equipped with a battery capacity of 61 kWh, an electric motor with a power of 150 kW, and a battery consumption of 15.3 kWh per 100 km which can last for 430 km of use when the battery is full.
This is one of the advantages of the Omoda E5 and it meets the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Cycle/WLTC standards).
This electric car can also charge quickly from 30% to 80% in just approximately 30 minutes.
The Chery Omoda E5 electric car is scheduled to announce its official price in Indonesia in early 2024.
