The Omoda 5 family is Chery’s mainstay at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show or GIIAS Bandung 2023 exhibition which will take place 2226 November 2023.
Chery Omoda 5 EV, Chery Omoda 5 GT, and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro are exhibited in the exhibition which takes place in Hall K , Sudirman Grand Ballroom, Bandung. Meanwhile, the Chery Omoda 5 GT and Omoda 5 RZ are specially prepared for visitors who want to do a test drive.
“This year Chery succeeded in increasing its exposure in Indonesia by releasing various premium SUVs and succeeded in entering the ranks of the top nine passenger cars with very rapid growth,” said Executive Vice President of PT Chery Sales Indonesia Qu Ji Zong.
“This time we want to interact more with West Java residents who visit GIIAS Bandung City 2023,” he added.
Qu Ji Zong added that Bandung is a strategic market and has great potential to continue to develop. Chery also sees the Flower City as a market that suits the manufacturer, because of the modern and urban style of its people.
Chery itself already has a dealer network in Bandung, which is equipped with 3S standard service facilities. The GIIAS Bandung 2023 momentum which takes place in November also coincides with Chery’s one year celebration in Indonesia. For Chery, the first year in Indonesia has a deep meaning with a very positive reception from the Indonesian automotive market.

For one year in Indonesia, Chery has actively participated in GIIAS in various cities and has introduced six future-oriented premium SUV models.
The six models are Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Omoda 5 RZ, Chery Omoda 5 Z, Chery Omoda 5 GT FWD, and Chery Omoda 5 GT AWD, all of which are assembled at the CKD Indonesia factory under the supervision of PT CSI .
