PT Sokonindo Automobile officially started producing Seres E1 domestically located at the Cikande factory, Serang, Banten at the end of 2023.
Production of Seres E1 at the factory owned by PT Sokonindo Automobile is a sign of the investment that has been invested in the past few years is starting to bear fruit, namely providing quality vehicles at affordable prices.
“This domestic assembly also helps consumers get affordable electric vehicles and can support sustainable mobility in Indonesia,” said Achmad Rofiqi, Marketing Head of PT Sokonindo Automobile, in his statement, Friday (15/12/2023) .
The Seres E1 is now the second electric vehicle model assembled at the Cikande factory.

Seres E1 Electric Car Specifications
Seres E1 relies on a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a maximum range of 220 km (Seres E1 Type L) and consumers can easily charge the battery every day at home.
The performance offered by the Seres E1 is also quite sufficient with a maximum torque of 100 Nm, combined with an automatic transmission.
This combination will make it easier for drivers to maneuver on the streets of the capital, and make the journey more enjoyable.
A number of safety features are available on the Seres E1, starting from Anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, parking camera, cruise control and driving modes. Especially for the Seres E1 Type L, there is also Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
Apart from that, PT Sokonindo Automobile also guarantees the Seres E1 electric car with an 8 year guarantee for the battery, a 3 year guarantee that guarantees the vehicle, and consumers are also free of maintenance for 3 years.
