Indonesian racer, Veda Ega Pratama, was selected by Dorna Sports to take part in the motorbike racing event in Europe, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies 2024.
Reported by Antara, Vega along with Thai racer Jakkreephat Phuettisan will take part in the racing competition.
“Indonesian and Thai racers will embark on the journey to MotoGP as Dorna’s chosen racers in the Rookies category. They are Veda Ega Pratama and Jakkreephat Phuettisan. “Both of them will compete in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup next season,” as quoted by Antara news agency.
With the selection of the racer from Gunungkidul, he will play for one season in Europe.
And of course, he will use a motorbike with fiercer specifications, namely the KTM RC 250 R 4-stroke. This motorbike is also used by racers who compete in Moto3.
The KTM RC 250 R 4-stroke uses a DOHC liquid-cooled single cylinder engine with a capacity of 250 cc. With this engine, this motorbike is capable of producing up to 49.6 hp with 28 Nm of torque.

The KTM RC 250 R uses a Brembo braking system which on the front has two steel discs controlled by double pistons. And on the back there is one disc.
The suspension on this motorbike uses an upside down system at the front, and a monoshock at the rear.
