In this case the battery guarantee for BinguoEV covers 3 main components, namely Drive Motor, Motor Controller Unit and Power Battery. This guarantee is presented to provide worry free to consumers throughout their ownership.
Consumers who buy units until December 31, 2023 will still get these benefits.
“The product line participating in the Lifetime Core EV Component Warranty consists of Wuling BinguoEV Long Range 333 kilometers and Wuling Binguo Premium Range 410 kilometers until 31 December 2023,” said Dian Asmahani, Sales & Marketing Director Wuling Motors, Thursday (21 /12/2023).
For information, the Wuling BinguoEV uses a lithium ferro-phosphate battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWH for the 333 km and 37.9 kWh variants with a range of 410 km.
The electric motor of the new Wuling car is capable of producing around 50 kW or around 67 HP.
BinguoEV Battery Guarantee Can Void
Even though Wuling rewards BinguoEV with a lifetime battery guarantee, in fact the guarantee can also be void.
The following are several things that need to be considered so that the Wuling BinguoEV battery guarantee does not expire:
• Valid for private BinguoEV owners in new condition (not operational vehicles or changed hands)
• Maximum mileage of 30,000 kilometers per year
• Vehicle electricity used always carries out regular maintenance at the official Wuling repair shop network
• Consumer electric vehicles use original spare parts from Wuling
• Vehicles are used for personal use, not company operations or commercial activities
• The warranty does not apply if the three core components are damaged These are caused by modification, impact, flood, fire, or accident.
If these terms and conditions are met, consumers don’t need to worry because the guarantee will cover important components in their electric car.
“If consumers experience problems with the main EV components, there is no need to worry because the Lifetime Core EV Component guarantee will cover them. “This is the same as the previous warranty protection, namely 8 years or 120,000 kilometers, but the period is for life.” explained Maulana Hakim, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.
For price, the Wuling BinguoEV is marketed at prices starting from IDR 358 million for the Long Range variant (330 km) and IDR 408 million for the Premium Range variant (410 km).
