Director of Law Enforcement, Korlantas Polri, Police Brigadier General Aan Suhanan, was appointed as the daily acting Head of Korlantas or Kakorlantas Polri, replacing Inspector General of Police Firman Shantyabudi, entering retirement as of November 2023.
Assistant Chief of Police for Human Resources (As SDM) Polri Inspector General Pol. Dedi Prasetyo said the appointment of Brigadier General Pol. Aan Suhanan as Daily Implementer of the National Police Traffic Corps Headquarters starting today (1/12/2023).
“Yes, it is true that Brigadier General Pol Aan was appointed as the daily administrator of the National Police Traffic Corps Headquarters starting today,” said Dedi in Jakarta.
Dedi has not explained in detail the reasons why the National Police have not directly appointed the Head of the National Police Traffic Corps as a replacement for the Inspector General of Police. Shantyabudi said.

In accordance with police regulations, the retirement period for National Police personnel is 58 years of age.
Regarding who will replace the position of Kakorlantas Polri, Ramadhan said this was waiting for a decision from the police chief’s telegram letter.
“What is clear is that there are no obstacles, we just have to wait for the TR mutation later,” said Ramadhan.
Firman Shantyabudi officially served as Kakorlantas on October 31 2021 replacing Inspector General Pol. Istiono is also entering retirement.
