Holding "Charge Up The Future" Art Installation, MG Motor Indonesia Proves Commitment to Electrification

Indonesia plans to achieve Net Zero Emission by 2060 or known as NZE 2060. A number of automotive brands in the national market provide support through electrification or Electric Vehicle (EV) products. Including MG Motor Indonesia.

Among other things, by presenting the innovative exhibition MG Art Installation “Charge Up The Future” at ASHTA District 8 SCBD, Jakarta. This is a symbol of MG’s achievements in electrification as well as a platform to increase public awareness about the sustainability and efficiency of electric vehicles.

Organizing this exhibition is in line with MG’s commitment to supporting the penetration of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. Not only through electric vehicles, but educational initiatives.

MG is working in the sector of providing innovative electric vehicles, as well as building solid infrastructure and increasing public awareness.

“Our collaboration with the government and non-government organizations is a critical step in realizing this vision,” he explained.

MG Motor Indonesia emphasizes its commitment to realizing a green Indonesia, namely a joint movement to change the transportation paradigm towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

This British company, which is now owned by China, has initiated collaboration with various activists such as industry associations, infrastructure developers and educational institutions, in a series of initiatives to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia.

In addition, MG Motor Indonesia has announced strategic steps after the opening of the new factory with the introduction of local production of the newest electric vehicles New MG ZS EV and MG 4 EV.

The opening of the MG factory and the launch of local production is an important turning point in MG Motor Indonesia’s strategy.

This includes efforts to increase the number of charging stations across the country and educational programs designed to increase public understanding of the benefits and uses of electric vehicles.

MG’s achievements in advancing the era of electrification in Indonesia are the result of collective hard work involving many parties.

This company collaborates with a number of important partners who have contributed to the success of this effort, including the Electric Mobility Ecosystem Association (AEML), Voltron, PT PLN, and Haleyora Power which is a subsidiary of PT PLN.
