PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) launched the All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV, a premium Honda sedan that carries hybrid technology with a sporty appearance typical of the RS variant in Jakarta, 7 December 2023.
In Indonesia, the All New Honda Accord is a model The second to use e:HEV technology after the Honda CR-V which was launched in August 2023.
e:HEV technology is Honda’s latest hybrid system where the electric motor and petrol engine can work in mutual support.

The All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV also has the latest EV Switch feature to set three power management modes according to the user’s wishes.

Meanwhile, in EV mode, the system will fully use power from the electric motor, so the car will work completely without emissions or fuel consumption.
Meanwhile Charge mode is used to distribute power from the petrol engine to charge the vehicle battery.

All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV uses a 2.0-liter direct-injected 4-Cylinder Atkinson cycle DOHC engine combined with an Electrical Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) where Honda provides a guarantee of free battery replacement up to 8 years or 160 thousand kilometers.
The Electric Motor in this car produces a maximum power of 184 PS at 5,000-8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 335 Nm at 0-2,000 rpm, while the 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC Engine produces a maximum power of 145 PS at 6,100 RPM and a maximum torque of 179 Nm at 4,500 rpm, the combination of power from the Electric Motor and engine will produce 207 PS of power.
