The DPR RI legislative candidate from the Democratic Party, Zulfikar, became a hot topic of conversation because he campaigned using a car with a National Police number plate and a strobe. This action was carried out in the Tangerang area, Banten.
This action was then dealt with by the police by giving him a ticket. Tangerang Police Chief, Commissioner Sigit Dany Setiyono also removed the National Police service number plate.
“We have taken action, namely controlling tickets for traffic violators, namely number plates that we have removed. Including the use of sirens, rotators or strobes which we have controlled,” said Sigit to journalists, Monday (18/12/2023).
The Police Service Number was installed on his Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and then used for the campaign.
Regarding the National Police service number plate, continued Zulfikar, he admitted that he had obtained it officially. He was able to use the National Police service number plate because he had the status of a member of the Republic of Indonesia’s DPR.

Apart from the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport used for the campaign, he apparently has four other cars that are no less luxurious.
According to the State Administration’s Wealth Report, he has a collection of 5 vehicles including a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
The first car is the Toyota Forttuner launched in 2016. This car is estimated to be worth IDR 464 million.
Then next there is the 2012 Landrover Jeep which has a value of IDR 624 million. Furthermore, he reported 2 Honda CR-Vs with an estimated value of IDR 225, 12 million and IDR 450 million respectively.
And finally, there is the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport used for the campaign whose value is estimated at IDR 308,620 million. The total vehicle collection reached IDR 2.071 billion.
