PT Wahana Makmur Sejati (WMS), the main Honda motorbike dealer in the JakartaTangerang area which is famously known as Wahana Honda, is the special organizer of each Honda Developmental Basketball League (DBL) championship series.
This year, Wahana had the opportunity to hold six DBL series in Jakarta and Banten with the title Honda DBL with Kopi Good Day Final DKI Jakarta Series and Banten Series 2023. This event was packaged in an interesting and educational way, where Wahana Honda shared various discourses and safety riding tips or safe driving, which has the special hashtag #Search_Safe with Honda.

The excitement of the Honda DBL with Kopi Good Day Final DKI Jakarta Series and Banten Series 2023 [PT WMS] competition In Jakarta, the Honda DBL matches were staged in five series. Namely:
West Region on 24–28 July 2023North & Center Region (11–18 August 2023)East Region (20–29 September 2023)South Region (12–21 October 2023)DKI Jakarta Championship (2–8 November 2023)DKI Jakarta Final Party (17 November 2023)Banten Series (7–16 December 2023). The number of participants in almost all regions increased compared to last year. Following are the results:
DKI Jakarta SeriesNorth Central Region 2023 recorded 794 while the record from the 2022 event: 667 peopleDKI Jakarta SeriesEast Region 2023 had 1,093 participants, while 2022: 855 peopleDKI Jakarta SeriesSouth Region 2023 was 1,068 people, in 2022: 777 peopleBanten Series reached 1,392 people , previously 968 people Only one region saw the number of participants decrease, namely the DKI Jakarta SeriesWest Region. The number of participants in the DKI Jakarta SeriesWest Region in 2023 was recorded at 375 people, while last year it was 390.
The number of participants is the accumulation of the men’s basketball team, women’s basketball team, men’s 3×3 team, women’s 3×3 team, dance team, men’s officials and officials daughter.
Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Championship is a series that brings together champions in each DKI Jakarta region.
“The total number of participants in the Honda DBL with Kopi Good Day Final of the DKI Jakarta Series and Banten Series 2023 is 4,722 people. This number has increased by 22.5 percent compared to last year which was recorded at 3,657 people. Automatically, the increase in the number of participants also means an increase in the number of participating schools in the Honda DBL with Kopi Good Day Final DKI Jakarta Series and Banten Series 2023,” explained Andra Friandana, Head of Marketing Communication PT WMS.
The increasing number of participants in the Honda DBL with Kopi Good Day Final DKI Jakarta Series and Banten Series 2023 has created a schedule implementation has changed.
“The increase in the number of participants affects the duration of the event. During the Banten Series, for example, we had to add days for DBL Banten this season. Originally DBL Banten took place on 8-16 December 2023. However, we have increased it to 7-16 December 2023, ” he added
The increasing number of participants, he added, shows the increasing enthusiasm of the public for the development of basketball in Indonesia.

For the record, safety riding is the training material provided by the Honda Safety Riding Promotion or Honda SRP Wahana at the Honda DBL basketball competition. The aim is none other than to help educate young Indonesians about orderly traffic on the highway.
